I tried protein pancakes for the first time today! I have made banana pancakes before, but never something with specific macros to meet my post workout needs. Today I combined:
1/4 c gluten free Krusteaz pancake mix
2 scoops vanilla whey protein
1/2 tbs vanilla
Coconut milk to desired consistency
Mixed everything until I felt it would rise. poured onto griddle and waited. Once done I drizzled 1/8 c Vermont sugar-free, butter-flavored syrup, and enjoyed.
They weren't fluffy, but they were filling!
