First Workouts Of 2016 Done!

Well, I have my first week under my belt! Woot woot! Technically the first full week won't be until next week, but I decided to jump right in last week and make this past week count.

While it counted by way of working out (the FitBit screen shot proves so ;) ), my nutrition was only about 70% on point. A couple of glasses of wine kept me from being Whole30, and I gave in to some jalapeno poppers, buffalo wings, and a regular French dressing. Soooo..... It's ok. I started working out again, and that is what I really needed!

Next week will be the same lifting routine, with upper body on Monday and Thursday, and lower body on Tuesday and Friday. I had 
hoped to begin working out in the mornings, but I'm not. I am going to leave my prayer and devotion time a lone and continue to workout over lunch. It is so important to start my day right and I have learned working out over lunch really works for me.

I kept track of all the weight I lifted this week, and the plan is to use the same weight this upcoming week or maybe even bump it up five pounds or so. Boom! I'm excited to get back into a good routine. The countdown to spring break has already begun in our home ;)
