Day 5 of 8 Wk Challenge

Wowza! Today was intense. I am super busy at work, and the pace will probably not subside until June or so. Crazy, I know! But I know the morning devotions, daily workouts, whole God-made food and now yoga coupled with prayer and reflection are all keeping my stress from rising.

Following work I had the special task of getting my daughters ready for a dance. Off they went, and for a split second I thought about going to bed. It was 7pm.

But with the end of workouts for week one nearing, I stuck to my plan. That, and I had already consumed extra carbs and calories for the workout, so I wanted them to serve their purpose.

Workout:
  • Weighted walking lunges
20 minutes steady state cardio

I followed it up with some stretching.
