Day 1 of 8 Week Challenge

The day didn't start as it normally would. Between the large amount of snow and the super bowl last night, the fam and I stayed up to watch a movie, and we all ended up sleeping in today. Boy do I feel MUCH BETTER staying on my routine! Working from home is nice, but adds carries a little bit of stress when the kiddos and husband all think I get a snow day too. At any rate, I managed to get things done, eat a good meal, and make it to work out. I honestly felt exhausted today, I could only think it was due to to sleeping in. With it being Monday AND the first day of my new challenge, I was determined to get past it, and get my workout in. Glad I did, I felt much better afterwards.

Nutrition today was balanced macros and higher calories to support my workout, which was:
  • Squats
  • Chest press
  • Barbell rows
  • 20 minutes steady state cardio

Boom! Day one done.
