Holie molie! The scale moved. I finally saw a loss of 1.5 pounds on the scale! Happy dance, happy dance :) I feel like I nailed my nutrition and exercise last week. Plus, the supplements were added, soooooo something worked. I am still wrestling a cold, and since I didn't rest over the weekend, I need to at least a couple more days.
Nutrition will have to do most the work this week. If I hope to see more fat loss next week, I need to be following low carbs and then cycle up this weekend, when I should be able to get in a couple good lifting sessions.
Hopefully the scale will move down again next week!
Seven weeks down and five to go. The scale still won't budge. I could get frustrated, but I won't. I already accomplished my goal of being in a fitness magazine, as seen here. I am still going to finish the next five weeks strong. Why not? It is helping me stay focused on my fitness and I'm getting stronger. Plus, I know my body keeps changing.
I brought some supplements onboard this week, adding CLA and L-Carnitine to my regimen. Also, I'm incorporating fasted cardio with carbs around my workout, on days I cycle them in.
It's all an experiment for me. I will eventually find my body's sweet spot :)
