Three weeks with NO RESULTS on the Ultimate Oxygen Challenge?! What? Seriously? No, not seriously. The scale HAS NOT MOVED. But...I am losing inches and my fitness family can tell. I shared before pics and pics from last night, and the feedback is that my waist and hips are smaller and my booty lifted. Yay!
For someone like me who wants to see result like right after I workout, it is such a challenge to not see the scale move. That has been the key metric my entire life, and now it has to change. My clothes are getting bigger and my measurements are also reflecting a loss.
Do I want it to go faster? Sure! I mean I have been wanting to lose two pounds of fat a week, for the past three weeks, but didn't see it. Oh well! This transformation will take place in God's timing and my mind and body will stay healthy in the process. That's a win to me.
Am I going to keep targeting a two pound fat loss, while keeping my workouts intense, sleep consistent, nutrition balanced, supplements and stress managed...you bet your buttons!
Down one pound this week with the Ultimate Oxygen Challenge. Results aren't dramatic, but as my coach and I discussed yesterday, I'm in a building phase and my fat loss magic might night happen until later. That phase won't begin for another couple weeks. The trend with my scale (which may not be entirely accurate) is down in fat % and up on muscle gain. So I'm just going to keep executing one day at a time, run the Spartan Super in a week and a half, and then really zone in on fat loss.
