Ran three miles this evening. My body would much rather do HIIT! I have been looking into Spartan training. Some suggest doing only one long distance run a week, while the other workouts are weights, HIIT and functional. Time to go to the drawing board and plan next weeks sessions.
My workouts have been lacking. With an extremely busy schedule last week and a weekend away, I just did not get the sessions in. That, and I injured myself lifting last week. Today is only Tuesday, so I have five days left in this week to make it count. Tonight is going to be strength circuits with cardio to follow.
As for nutrition, I have been keeping it clean. I did splurge with a burger this past Friday. It felt like vacation, so I decided to enjoy it a bit. Planning on tightening it up and getting in the deficit range again, for fat loss.
