Had a great workout today! My hubby wanted me to take it easy with the stitches and all, but I couldn't. I told him if a football player can play with a broken foot, I can lift with a few stitches!
I went in to today's session telling myself I am an athlete. Thanks to my coach's encouragement to visualize this, I feel like I had a solid workout. I was going to do the cardio portion later tonight, but knew I needed to do it right away. Meetings for the kids and I know the evening will be gone. PLUS, I do better sticking with my plan when I know my evenings are open for my family.
3x10 44lbs, 3x5 55lbs, lat pull down
5x5 75lbs, deadlift
5x5 25lbs, standing press
*repeated each exercise one more time with same reps, performing a negative at the las rep.
