Today is my scheduled rest day. However, my coach gave me the option to walk for thirty minutes, and I am going to go for it. Exercise is a major stress reducer for me, plus the oxygen and blood flow help my muscles to recover from the lifting I have been doing. So today will feel like a leisure walk with a 5% incline at 4mph.
She also gave me the homework assignment to put a collage of images together, that capture the type of physique I am envisioning for myself. I have done this a lot already. This image is definitely a goal.
I see myself FINALLY being able to do a pull-up. I see myself with nice, round shoulder caps. I see myself with a nicely defined back. I see myself with a nice v-taper to my waist, yet feminine. I see myself being in optimal health. I see myself as God sees me, which is perfectly beautiful. I see myself with the confidence of an athlete who will not allow any obstacle keep her from moving forward.
