Zechariah 4:6

Then he said to me, “This is what the Lord says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

Lord, help us to REALLY read and see this verse this morning. When reading around the verse, questions arise from the imagery the Words create. Those questions lead to other places in the Bible. Those places create more questions, and a desire to have answers. You 

are faithful to answer those questions in Your perfect timing. But for now...

For now, we read these Words and come away with an understanding, affirmation, or awareness - nothing stands in the way of a believer being led by Your Holy Spirit. Nothing. On the flipside, those "mountains" may stay put for the believer attempting to live a redeemed life in their own strength. Lord, help us to identify the areas in our lives where we have the wheel, rather than trusting You with them.

Help us to understand we have an endless flow of Your Spirit in our lives. Help us understand the flow fuels the flame of the light being cast from our lives. Help that light to shine brightly and never fade, when trying times come. Thank You Jesus, amen.
