Psalm 27:14
Good morning ☺ NIV Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. NLT Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD. ESV Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD! NASB Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD. Perhaps we've come to the place where we have faith to believe for God's VISION for our lives, we've begun to gain clarity and acceptance of His will and purpose, we've even been able to catch some version of it in writing. Then what? Wait. This verse encourages us to wait for the Lord. In verse 11 the Psalmist says "Teach me how to live, O lord . Lead me along the right path..." He too was asking for the Lord's divine guidance. He then says to wait for the Lord. Lord, there may be a couple words in this verse, difficult for us to hear: wait and He will strengthen. Help us to wait on You and trust in Your timing. Help make this possible, regardless of the fact we are used to things happening fast or in our own time. Lord, help us also to rely on Your strengthening. This can seem so unfamiliar, especially when many of us have learned to be self reliant and grown comfortable with encouraging ourselves. Lord, You are good and Your mercy endures forever. You desire we look to You and be strengthened by You. Help us to rely on the grace You extend, to begin to do so more and more until it becomes the way we live. We Thank You and praise You, in Jesus' Name amen ❤
