Matthew 9
Just then a woman who had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding came up behind Him. She touched the fringe of His robe, for she thought, “If I can just touch His robe, I will be healed.” Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Daughter, be encouraged! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was healed at that moment. When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Good morning!! Thank You Jesus for this morning (and EVERY morning)! Thank You for the VERY special reminder of just how far You can take a soul willing to never give up. The first verse was the basis of the message being spoken almost 8 years ago when You were basically telling me, "come back home, my arms are wide open, ready..." Like the prodigal, I chose You and did, bringing my family with me. Over the past eight years, You've transformed our lives! Thank You! We haven't been perfect, by any means, but You HAVE and You've remained faithful as You've promised You would. The second verse reminds me of the verses You spoke to our hearts last Fall about a Shepherdess rising up! That message shared 7 years from the "just touch them hem of His garment moment". The message that has fueled hearts and actions nearly every day since... Thank You for being a Healer and Comforter. Thank You for being the good Shepherd. I pray every soul reading this has their moment where they just reach out to You. I pray from there they continue to reach out to You. I thank You for helping them to see Your heart for their lives in the process. I thank You for the luves they will touch and love as a result. Thank You Jesus, amen!
