Matthew 7

Lord, again there are SO MANY truths to read and unfold this morning. The following verses stood out to me the most:

“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened." v7 & 8

I envision a set of doors moving upward. Though spaced somewhat equadistant to one another, they're not. One door leads to a depth and breadth of growth and understanding in You, while the next goes even further. All ascending towards heaven, each act or season of obedience drawing us closer to You, and Your will being done on earth as it is in heaven. At any moment there is a choice to keep going, stay put, or even retreat. Lord, I pray we keep going! I pray we are always compelled to keep asking, seeking and knocking. I pray Your Spirit is always leading in this and one day You will be able to look at us and say, "Ah, yes, I KNOW YOU, come in, You kept the Word of the Lord and shared His fruits with others!!"
