psalmist shares the Lord alone is his refuge, place of safety, and He covers him with His wings.
Proverbs 10:12 says, “Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses,” and Genesis 3:21 talks about the Lord providing a covering for Adam and Eve, and later a covering for the Israelites in Exodus 12, in order to be protected from death. Christ's robe was woven seamlessly from top to bottom. Seamless seems to mean perfect here, which as we look back, His covering was always perfect and protective from head to toe. From the place where our thoughts form and take shape, to the places our feet go in response to those thoughts. In Christ, He becomes our perfect, seamless covering, for ALL of who we are – spirit, soul, and body. Amazing.
