Galatians 6
Hello! Lord, this morning the verses preceding this one stuck out to me: Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. 8 Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. 9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. In order to do good for EVERYONE, and sew life, we must be led by Your Spirit. Otherwise, we really are only sewing that which will never produce life and blessing - in their lives and ours. It seems so repetitive, but Your Spirit in our lives and our cooperation with You is absolutely imperative. I pray as we go about our day today, all of this becomes so real in our mind and hearts, we cannot help but ask for more. I pray we do not dismiss this as something we've heard and known for 20, 30 or 40 plus years and continue on about our day. As verse fifteen states: What counts is whether we have been transformed into a new creation. I pray we are, from image to image and glory to glory, until we are perfected by You. Amen!
