Happy middle of the wee-eek! Lord, thank You for yet let another day to get into Your Word!
V2 For He was faithful to God, who appointed Him, just as Moses served faithfully when he was entrusted with God’s entire house.
V6 But Christ, as the Son, is in charge of God’s entire house. And we are God’s house, IF we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ.
V12 Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.
V14 For IF we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.
Heavenly Father, thank You for helping us to remain faithful to the end! Thank You for pointing out, there are some caveats, and those caveats are our part in our relationship with You, which involves cooperating and REMAINING FAITHFUL. My italicization of the word IF, notes to us WE must keep the courage, confidence and faithfulness to the end - free willingly. Help us, Holy Spirit of God, to do so. Lord, search our hearts for those areas of unbelief and evil. Uncover those places, and cause us to keep our eyes on You, rather than turning away.
Lord, just as Moses and Jesus faithfully tended Your House, help us to do the same. Help us to take care of our body, Your dwelling place. Help us to take care of our home, spouse, and children, where You also dwell. Help us to take care of the needs of the members of Your body (the church) wherever and however scattered or collected, we might be. Thank You Jesus! Amen!
