Acts 11
This was the question Peter asked himself as he witnessed the gift of the Holy Spirit being given by God to the gentiles. This morning I pray we ask ourselves, "Who am I to stand in God's way?" It hasn't been coincidental, many of life's events this past week have fallen in line with what we are reading. When God urges to keep a distance, keep a distance. When He urges to prepare a meal, prepare the meal and share it. When He expresses walk on past, walk on past. When He says provide a covering, provide a covering. We can dispute and ultimately have the choice, but Lord, please help us to not stand in Your way. Help us to understand and see when we are trying to move with our own knowledge of a situation, rather than Your wisdom. You know when hearts are ready and when they're not. I pray we do only that which helps prepare hearts for Your love and gifts, rather than potentially push them further from You because of OUR OWN COMFORT. Thank You Jesus, amen.
