Acts 28
In the final chapter of Acts, we read Paul made it to Rome!! Along the way, he... Was bit by a snake and survived Healed the sick Must have grown discouraged, but was encouraged by brothers and sisters Boldly proclaimed the Kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ. And no one tried to stop him. Lord, Thank You again for the illustration provided through Paul's life. He knew where he was going, and He knew it was Your will. He didn't settle for the events taking place along the journey. He didn't determine You are an unjust and unloving God when You allowed him to suffer trials - and walk away. He didn't conclude he must have arrived at the fullness of Your salvation as he healed and performed miracles - focusing only on performing those things. No, Paul knew where he was going and went, accepting and sharing in both the trials and miracles along the way, because he seemingly had learned through both, You are always right there. And he wanyed to be wherever You are. His devotion was to You and Your heart concerning people. Lord, please help us to do the same.
