Acts 22
This morning Paul recounts his salvation and transformation for the Jewish folks in Jeruselem. Reading this chapter we can feel like there's nothing much to gain, other than the religious there really did not like Paul because of the salvation Christ offered to the Gentiles through him. But if we were to step back and see a whole picture, there were several nuggets standing out (which also are RED LETTER words from Christ) 10‘Get up and go into Damascus, and there you will be told everything you are to do.’ 18 I saw a vision of Jesus saying to me, ‘Hurry! Leave Jerusalem, for the people here won’t accept your testimony about me.’ 21 ‘Go, for I will send you far away to the Gentiles!’ Lord, this morning I pray we see the journey to transforming from our old nature to Your nature involves ACTION on our part. Help us to see we must truly desire what You would have us do, and to ASK what must be done. Compel us to PRAY and help us to see what Your next step in our lives should be. Lord, help our mind and hearts to RECEIVE whatever we sense You are speaking to us. Finally, move us to GO and follow through once You've made Your request known. Lord, where discomfort and perhaps disbelief exists in our minds and hearts, I pray You go there and begin to open and soften those places. I pray we desire to Live for You, in this way, always. In Jesus' Name amen ❤
