Acts 17
Dear Lord, thank You!! Thank You for Your healing hand. Thank You for satisfying EVERY need. Thank you for healing places of confusion, hurt, anxiety, disbelief, fatigue, frustration, disease and lack of vision. Thank You for those You place in our lives to come along side us and become our Family in Christ. Thank You. This chapter in Acts could feel a bit dry and less "juicy" than the other chapters, but being open to all words serving a purpose, a message is discovered: Paul Spoke daily. The people of Berea were open minded and listened eagerly. These same people also searched Scripture. He [God] gives life and breath, and satisfies every need. Some believed. This chapter speaks of having an active role in our walk with You. I pray we are believers who, like Paul, see the vision You have for our lives so clear, we cannot help but move towards it every day. I pray we always are open minded to Your words, Your will and Your way, never placing You inside a religious box of tradition and comfort. I ask we too are compelled to search the Scripture ourselves to confirm Your Word and solidify its life within our hearts. I also ask we arrive at the place where we KNOW You are the only source of satisfaction for our lives, and we live in such a way others begin to believe as well. We thank You and praise You, amen!
