2 Chronicles 16:9 Says the eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those WHOSE HEARTS ARE FULLY COMMITTED to Him.

Deuteronomy 6:5 instructs to love the Lord with all our heart, all our soul, and all our strength.

This was reinforced much later in Luke 10:27 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.

Suppose the Lord is searching TODAY. Searching for someone whose heart is fully committed to Him. He desires to strengthen those hearts. He desires to strengthen the wife who struggles with feelings of not having spiritual leadership. He desires to strengthen the momma who sometimes feels weak and constantly asks if they're doing right. He desires to strengthen the single gal feeling a lone and sometimes wonders if she's good enough. He desires to strengthen ALL whose hearts are fully committed to Him. Is my heart FULLY committed to Him? Do I love Him with EVERYTHING in me? What does a fully committed heart look like?

When we know where our hearts are, we can see how well we are loving our neighbor. Which, according to Strong’s Concordance, is a friend or one close by. Who are those closest to us then? Spouse? Children? Family? Friends? Yes, we start here, with those truly closest to us. However, Strong's concordance also says "according to Christ, any other man irrespective of nation or religion with whom we live or whom we chance to meet". Our neighbor is anyone.

God I pray You compel us to pray and show us where our hearts are not fully committed. As a shepherdess rising up I pray we embrace the importance of loving you with all we have, in order to tend to and love those You have entrusted to us, in a godly way. I thank you for giving us an example of a fully committed heart, in King David, who began as a shepherd. I pray your Spirit moves every heart reading this and reveals to each, unique individual what it is You need them to see this morning.

Amen.
