1 Corinthians 12
This morning my thoughts were haulted as I read... God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us. Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit. If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad. 1 Corinthians 12:6, 13, 26 Lord, thank You for helping us to see You work in DIFFERENT ways. Your work in each of our lives may LOOK VERY DIFFERENT, but it is You, the One Who knits us all together in love. Thank You for the reminder that we all come from DIFFERENT walks of life with very different experiences, but through Jesus we are ALL Yours. And because we are all Yours, and Your Spirit moves each of us in hormony with YOUR WILL, we can hurt with one another rather than shame. We can be glad for one another rather than allow envy, jealousy or comparison to take over. Lord, I pray we see Your gifts are intended to BENEFIT Your body and the hurting around us, rather than create boasting that carries the power to cripple and maim. Holy Spirit empower us to live as intended. In Jesus Christ's Name we pray, Amen ❤
