1 Corinthians 10
Dear Lord, thank You for Your Word, and speaking to our hearts what matters most. This morning we read we have the freedom to do so many things (as well as words of caution), but there are two questions we may be compelled to ask ourselves. Does this bring glory to God? AND Is this helpful for the salvation of others? This reminds me of Your greatest commandment... Matthew 22:36-40 (NLT) 36 “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” 37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.” Holy Spirit, help shift our focus from focusing only on oursleves, onto glorifying You and being concerned with the wellbeing of those around us, in ways only YOU can lead us. Thank You Jesus, amen ❤
