In all, I lost 2 lbs of fat, my body fat came down by 1.5%, lost about 3 in. from my waist and 1 inch from my hips. Not a dramatic difference, but a difference I am happy with. During this time, I also completed the Spartan Super and met a goal or dream of mine to be in a fitness magazine. Am I going to win? Most likely not, and that’s ok. While I hoped to place in the top twenty, it was not in the plan at this time. So what is the plan now?
intermittent fasting for fat loss. While this challenge is centered around becoming whole in spirit, soul and body, I also would like to see a fat loss reduction as a side benefit.
I think experimenting with intermittent fasting, along with keeping a closer eye on my calories, I will be able to see measurable fat loss before moving into Thanksgiving and the holiday season. Most importantly, the plan is to continue to rely on God and move as He needs me to.
Currently God has me involved with a book club and reading through a great book on priorities. He also has me facilitating the challenge that is made up of several women from my area, Ohio, Kentucky, Arizona and California, that I know of. There are countless other individuals following along on Facebook, as over 500 new folks have taken an interest in the past month a lone. I am also writing when I can, and trusting God to move and guide my words there. All these things I take seriously and I'm honoroed to be a part of. Especially when I am being empowered to be a better wife, mother, friend and neighbor.
Thank you for checking in and coming along with me on this journey. I know I have been blessed by words of encouragent and prayers I have not heard. Have a wonderful day!
