This week I built a lot of confidence in the gym. Walking five days, and lifting four - setting the benchmark is so motivating for me. Now I can focus on intense sessions next week and MEASURE my gains when I compare back to the baseline in a couple weeks.
I also feel good about my nutrition this week. Planning my meals and following through is KEY. The one day I walked out the door without my goods, I deviated. No more forgetting my meals on the counter!
I have also been sleeping like a baby this week! It feels so good to have a deep sleep. With the exception of a full bladder (for both me and the pup ;-) ) the sleep was a solid seven. Super good for me.
Stress management also seemed to be better this week. I have been giving a lot over to God and trust in Him MORE. Being thankful and praising Him, as the devotions the week exhorted me to, also had a lot to do with it. My little melt down yesterday, which admittedly I didn't give to God right away, did impact me. BUT it also reminded me to lean on Jesus and not my own limited understanding.
Finally, I started a couple supplements this week. Fish oil for Omega-3s, Kre-alkalyn for muscle build and a good multi-vitamin.
It feels like I stepped up the game this week, and I did. Talking with my coach on Monday really pointed me in the right direction. Having someone on my side, who knows what she is doing, is awesome. So awesome, I am super excited with the idea of doing the same. Maybe I will be encouraging and coaching others through their health goals some day???
Have a fantabulous weekend!
