All will be shaken. These were the words I sensed God speaking to my heart last Friday morning, as He called me into His presence.
“But haven’t I been shaken enough?!” I cried out!! One thing after another, wave after wave continually “crashing” had me feeling overwhelmed.
Holy Spirit led me to Hebrews 12:26, 27: When God spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but now he makes another promise: “Once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also.”[a] 27 This means that all of creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain.
And then to Haggai 2:6, 7: “For this is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: In just a little while I will again shake the heavens and the earth, the oceans and the dry land. 7 I will shake all the nations, and the treasures of all the nations will be brought to this Temple. I will fill this place with glory, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
From there I went to Isaiah 60:5: Your eyes will shine, and your heart will thrill with joy, for merchants from around the world will come to you. They will bring you the wealth of many lands.
After an in depth look into Isaiah 60, and be reminded: “Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you. 2 Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you. All nations will come to your light; mighty kings will come to see your radiance. 4 “Look and see, for everyone is coming home! Your sons are coming from distant lands; your little daughters will be carried home. 5 Your eyes will shine, and your heart will thrill with joy…
I went on to read Zechariah 8:23, Malachi 4:2, Revelation 21:2-7, 8, ending up in Ezekiel 37:
Zechariah 8:23 “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: In those days ten men from different nations and languages of the world will clutch at the sleeve of one Jew. And they will say, ‘Please let us walk with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’”
Malachi 4:2 “But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings.[a] And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.
Reveleation 21:2-8 2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.[a] 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” 5 And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” 6 And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life. 7 All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children. 8 “But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars—their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
Ezekiel 37: 12 Therefore, prophesy to them and say, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: O my people, I will open your graves of exile and cause you to rise again. Then I will bring you back to the land of Israel. 13 When this happens, O my people, you will know that I am the Lord. 14 I will put my Spirit in you, and you will live again and return home to your own land. Then you will know that I, the Lord, have spoken, and I have done what I said. Yes, the Lord has spoken!’”
While reading these passages and praying as God led me, these were the words I penned myself: Be strong, alert, and courageous! Heaven on earth can be had! Remain connected to God by going into His presence. His presence STRENGTHENS (Psalm 16:8). His abiding Spirit is our joy – causing us to no longer desire outside influences for joy – empowering us to remain ALERT! Being courageous is not an option, we must be! The temptation to give up will be too great, the cowardess finding themselves in a lake of fire (Rev. 21:8). We must willingly take our post, rise up to God’s purpose, remain strong, alert and courageous. He will breathe new life into all the dry bones of the body, reviving, causing ONE to join and form from many. Do not be afraid to go to Him! Our decision to RISE and be courageous, casting HIS light will CAUSE MANY TO REACH OUT FOR HIM, while all that is not of Him falls away. We are not alone. Others are being called to do the same. Be LOVE with I AM. Strong. Alert. Courageous. Rise to new life, shine, be radiant with the glory of God!
Friend, I share this with you because I can’t shake the notion that there is an urgency for Christ’s body to respond. I’m like you, I am just as uncomfortable with the “dooms day” preaching or message as the next person. But, if God is speaking something, shouldn’t we listen?
Perhaps like you, I desire to stand strong, alert and courageous – but we know ourselves and there are just some days when we’re not sure how we’re supposed to do it. Plus, there are so many messages all around us attempting to convince us: to take a break, don’t be such a fanatic, let up a bit, just have some fun, have some “me” time, avoid the topics in my company and not be so intense. None if these words align with what I sense God speaking. What message should we go with?
God’s! God make us courageous! In courageously responding to You, may many be Redeemed and reconciled from their unbelief. Deliver those given to corruption, murdering, hatred, immorality (as You define it), idol worshiping and dishonesty – and turn towards Your love, will and ways, extending mercy and grace all along the way. Walk with us Lord, empower us to be the light and make Your LOVE known. Lord, I pray this message makes its way to all who are ready to read it and hear the heart of its message. Thank You for your loving kindness and desire to not have one soul perish.
Are you ready and willing to stand strong, alert and courageous? Please let me know how I might be able to pray for you. Blessings!
